Red Chili Oscar

The Oscar is an ornamental variant of the popular Astronotus ocellatus Oscar. With its elegant, flowing fins, the Oscar makes a colorful and active addition to a large aquarium.

The Oscar requires a large aquarium of at least 350L with a deep sand bottom and a few large rocks. They will dig up plants so any plants that are in the aquarium should be potted with the root surfaces covered with rocks. Using floating plants is a good compromise to this problem. Tiny Oscars form a tight cluster for protection and this is normal behavior for juvenile fish. Large Oscars are not as territorial as most other cichlids when full grown but will consume anything they can fit into their mouths.

A large aquarium should be used for breeding, as large as 400L if possible. Oscars will spawn in soft or hard water as long as it is clean and clear and has a temperature between 79-86°F. It is hard to tell the difference between the male and females, but during spawning the female has obvious genital papilla. The female will lay from 1,000-2,000 eggs on rocks that have been carefully cleaned. The eggs are opaque at first, turning transparent in 24 hours. The brood will be carefully guarded and cared for and the fry will be kept in pits and may even be covered. When they are free-swimming, the fry should be fed Cyclops. Sometimes the fry will cling to their parents.

The Oscar is a carnivore that is a predaceous and hearty eater. Oscars will eat a variety of meaty foods, including small fish and earthworms, Cichlid pellets, larger flake food, ocean plankton, bloodworms, and tubifex worms.

Pretty and seems to work but smells odd at first.
Color: 2pc
Beautiful but smells a little fishy at first. Thankfully the smell dissipates fairly quickly.

Lovely shimmer, but lingering scent and uneven mist are disappointing
Color: 1pc
I love the shimmer in this. And I love that there is spf. But the spray nozzle doesn't provide a fine mist, it's more like a splatter so it's hard to apply evenly. There is also a lingering scent that I find a little overwhelming to have directly on my face. I want to love it, but I'm giving it 3 stars for those issues.

The fine spray was nice but Way too shimmery! Looked like I left a strip club! Not a bad thing, just not 24-7

Glitter

The ingredient list checks out as a sunscreen, but for SPF 50, it seemed too watery from my observation. It was easy to apply because it’s light and watery, but I doubt it’s as effective as it should be. This glowing and lightweight sunscreen also has a faint watermelon like scent, and all those nice oil based ingredients moisturized my skin well. The spray is convenient and easy to use, and I like that about it. However, I am just not a big fan of glittery stuff. Whether it’s on a Christmas card or on my skin, whether I like it or not, it will end up being eaten or breathed in one way or another. Overall, this is an okay product, and I really wish it didn’t have glitter in it.

This is very cute sheer mist for all over body. I’m not sure if it really works as sunscreen because I feel it too watery to apply it nicely all over. I definitely don’t intend to use it as facial sunscreen (I’m trying to protect my face from more dark spots). The mist is very sparkly and I love it. Once sprayed it provides sparkly finish and it looks nice. There’s no smell (or very very mild one) and it absorbs really fast due to it being very watery. Now as someone mentioned the spray part is a bit annoying- it leaves patches of watery spray instead of fine mist. You definitely need to tap it in after spraying which is a bit annoying. I’ll definitely use this as part of my pool/beach routine - probably on top of “normal” sunscreen for all over my body. It adds a bit of hydration too which is nice.
