Shima Seien 島成園
(February 1892 - March 5, 1970)
PROFILE
The youngest of the three most famous female nihonga artists of the Taishō era (1912-1926), Seien, along with Uemura Shōen 上村松園 (1875-1949) and Ikeda Shōen 池田蕉園 (1886-1917), was known as one of the "three 'en' of the three cities," Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo.[1] She became best known for breaking with the traditional idealized/romanticized portrayals of women in the genre known as bijin-ga (pictures of beautiful women). She brought personal insight and experience into much of her early, pre-1924, work resulting in a realism absent in traditional bijin painting. These aspects of her work are epitomized in her 1918 painting titled Untitled an expressive self-portrait, discussed below.
Seien became an Osaka media sensation for her skill as a painter of haunting bijin scrolls , her success at the government sponsored Bunten exhibition in 1912 at the age of twenty, and her "striking looks".
Primarily a painter in the nihonga style, a mix of various Japanese styles and traditional materials often tinged with western influences, she was sought after as an illustrator for popular novels, women-focused magazines and, on occasion, a designer of woodblock prints. Her prints are extremely valuable and sought on by collectors.

Absolutely the BEST hold for headphones!!
Style: Studio-Grade White – One Pack
Perfect...just needed something easy to use and gentle on my headphones to get them out of the way when not in use. I have purchased several different holders from "TotalMount" and all their stuff is top quality high grade. Nothing flimsy here. I would highly recommend. Holder adheres to any surface and removes without leaving a mark. Sticks using command strips (4 strips for super secure hold) and has a smooth grey silicon liner that looks very mod. I purchased the white hold. I would most definitely purchase again.

A good hanger
There is not much to say in a review for a headphone hanger. It is nice that it uses four command strips so you can buy replacement strips when needed. It would have been nice to know a setup for the strips. There are four areas for the strips per hook. The instructions want you to use all four but that seems like overkill to me. Either way, it works nice and looks nice. I would suggest splurging on the silicone padded one just so that you have a little more protection for your headphones as well as the grip that the silicone adds.

Durable and 3M command strips
After I was back and forth with a few different mounts I finally took the leap and bought these as they are small enough but mighty. The mount is wide enough to not have to squeeze on my beat headphones and they rest on the silicone area. The best part is they come with 3M strips so if I want to relocate them I can buy replacement strips to remove and move them elsewhere without compromising quality regarding adhesion. Damage free and easy to use. Totally worth the buy to me!
