The color is a pleasant medium brown to dark brown with a very nice, gently flowing grain pattern. There are several small burl bud clusters that create attractive swirls in the grain and a bit of chatoyance. I see no cracks, checks or other significant flaws. This piece has been air dried to under 10% moisture content.
