Aroma

Vibrant and expressive on the nose with floral violet, lavender and sage over pools of dark berry fruit. The aromatic profile reflects the incredibly deep and detailed flavour profile captured by the long cool growing season coupled with a warm dry ripening period.

Palate

The palate is deep, opulent and complex. Scented blueberry, blackberry and ripe blood plum, shot through with darker notes of sumac and ground coffee bean. Attractive oak characters of vanilla bean, clove and five spice add interest through the finish. This flagship Durif possesses a concentration, palate weight and depth of flavour unlike any other, crafted from 100% Durif from Warrabilla's Parola's and Gooramadda vineyards.
