1950年代頃のSELROのヴィンテージネックレス。

SELROのジュエリーは市場に出回る数が少なく、価値も年々上昇している希少性の高いアイテムです。紙吹雪のような輝きを閉じ込めたコンフェッティルーサイトのジュエリーは、SELROの中でも特に人気のあるアイテム。

こちらのネックレスは、燻し加工が施されたアンティーク調のゴールドトーンメタルに、ムーンイエローのオーバルルーサイト、淡いライムイエローのガラスストーンがあしらわれたお品。

柔らかなイエローに輝くルーサイトの内部にはオーロラの煌めきがたっぷり閉じ込められており、その幻想的な美しさは月を思わせます。ルーサイトを抱くように添えられた、リーフモチーフも優美。

カラーや素材の絶妙なコンビネーション、独特の気品漂うシルエット・・全てが美しく、SELROにしかない魅力溢れる逸品。

しっかりとしたお作りで、永く愛用していただけるネックレスです。

【SELRO(セルロ)とは】 
ロシア生まれのPaul Salingerにより、1950年代にアメリカ・NYで創業されたコスチュームジュエリーブランド。力強い独特のテイスト、鮮やかな色合いのデザイン性が高いジュエリーが特徴です。中でも"Devil Mask"と呼ばれる鬼のような顔、アジア・アフリカ・エジプト系の顔を取り入れた作品が人気。
ブランドのペーパータグを付けて販売されていた商品もあり、刻印のないアイテムが多数あります。1960年代に閉業したため、製造年数が非常に短く市場に出回る数が少ないことから、SELROのジュエリーは希少性が高いアイテムとなっています。

Hard to Beat for the Price

I purchased these for a business trip to Italy and wore them daily for the two weeks that I was there, during which I walked extensively. For me, there was a break-in period of a few days; before it loosens up, it will bite your heel, so I recommend wearing bandages or heel pads initially. Following the break-in, it's a very comfortable shoe and has served me well. I purchased a wide, and for this shoe, I found the width agreeable; in my experience, Cole Haan wide widths tend to be hit or miss (i.e., a wide is sometimes not all that wide). In terms of durability, I would not expect these to remain in good condition for more than a year if you wear them daily. The leather is not of high quality, but it's acceptable for the price. Expect them to crease very quickly if not using shoe trees. That doesn't bother me, but I know some find it objectionable. All in all, I like them and would buy them again. It's a comfortable alternative to traditional dress shoes for the office and works equally well for casual wear. Most higher quality options cost at least two or three times as much, and many are unavailable in a wide.
