Written descriptions, paintings, prints and even photographs of the artist's atelier distort as much as they document. This pioneering cultural history charts the myth and reality of the creative space from Ancient Greece to the present day.
Tracing a history that extends far beyond the bohemian, romantic and renaissance cults of the artist, each chapter focuses on key developments of the studio space as seen in a variety of familiar and unfamiliar images. Mythical and divine makers, and some amateurs, are included, and so too are craftspeople - workers in metal and wood, potters, illuminators, weavers, embroiderers and architects to name a few. Each carefully chosen example is placed within a cultural and political context, with the aim of correcting the historical imbalance that has long overlooked the many artisans who collaborated with artists. Super soft

I bought this last year as a gift for myself. Im such a sucker for blankets and honestly have way too many. I love the heaviness of this blanket. The size of it is great as a throw for the end of my bed or to pull over me if I get cold. It can tend to get a bit hot with being so thick. I love that it doesn't shed all over the place is great quality. This bla ket is super soft and looks amazing where its laying as a throw piece. It does have a bit of weight to it and makes you feel super comfortable laying under it. The scent of it was a bit weird coming straight out of the package, but once opened and had time to air out it was fine. I love this bla ket and would absolutely buy it again!

Luxury Soft Faux CHINCHILLA Fur
Color: Birch Mink, Size: 60"x80"
The softest fur in the world comes from chinchillas, which have fur that is 30 times softer than human hair. Other notably soft furs include those from mink and angora rabbits. So after much consideration, I ordered the FAUX CHINCHILLA fur throw and absolutely love love love it. I actually purchased it as a house warming present for a friend, but somehow ended up receiving two and I kid you not it is the best mistake I ever made next to matrimony. My honest opinion is to ignore all the nonsense gobbledygook reviews and focus on the winners like the one written by Macy. Yes it's heavy and I'll probably have it professionally cleaned when the time comes, but folks I kid you not it is the softest, prettist and most impressive throw I've experienced to date. As others recommended... buy it, wrap it around your body and experience just how incredibly delightful it really is!!!

Wonderful, super soft but very heavy.

Very well-made very soft easy to clean. The only bad thing is it is so heavy. It’s like a super weighted blanket. It will keep you warm on the coldest of nights that’s guaranteed, but it’s really really heavy. Other than that. I absolutely love it. I use it as a comforter on my bed.

Beautiful smoky sable brown. It’s wonderfully soft and fluffy. It’s kind of a unique color of brown and it’s made very well. Quality item. Could be used for all seasons since it has the fur on one side and the smooth velvet on the back which is not too hot in warmer months. The first one I ordered had a strange oily spot on it but the seller was very kind gave me a refund and sent me another one for free. Definitely recommend the product and the seller!
The fur looks lighter in my pictures. It’s actually a good bit darker than what is depicted.
