Seat has a cut away at the front facilitate personal hygiene. The armrests tilt up to allow lateral transfers.
With a push-handle and 4 braked, non-corroding nylon castors (12.5cm (4.9") diameter), which enable carers to easily manoeuvre and securely position chair as required
Footrest simply clips to the frame and is easily retracted under the seat for transfers and carer access then easily pulled back out for use. The Uppingham has smooth, crevice-free surfaces for cleaning.
