The cosy and soft Kentucky Skin Friendly Under Rug 150g is now available in Black, and it's perfect for horses with sensitive skin.
Easily combined with other rugs, this under rug has a polyester microfibre outer that has been sanded to create a cotton soft touch.
It is lined in Kentucky's famous artificial rabbit fur, which is exceptionally gentle against your horse's coat and therefore ideal for clipped or sensitive-skinned horses that can be prone to rubbing. The lining also creates an extra isolating layer to maintain body heat and polishes the horse's coat to a rich shine.
The 150g fibre filling has the same advantages as down, but does not absorb any odour.
The under rug is cut a little shorter than outer rugs so it won't absorb moisture when your horse lies down.
The combination of artificial rabbit fur, polyester microfibre and anatomical shaping means that the rug stays in place securely.
It fastens with a single front closure, in combination with a hook and loop fastening. Two D-rings on the back allow a tail cord to be attached.
Machine washable at 30 degrees. For best performance, Kentucky recommend washing it once a month. Do not tumble dry.
The Kentucky Skin Friendly Under Rug is available in Black, in 150g, in sizes 5ft 9in to 7ft.
