For every guitarist who’s dreamt of combining the biting twang of a Telecaster with the sleek, ergonomic contours of a Strat, we created this limited-edition guitar: The Whiteguard Strat. Tele hardware, electronics and playing feel? Check. Ash Strat body with lacquer finish and custom-shaped white pickguard? Check. The unique style and sound you can only get from Fender? You better believe that’s a check.

The secret to this Strat’s biting tone is the pair of Fender Custom Shop ’51 Nocaster pickups. True to the original design, these pickups have the classic sound that made the world fall in love with Fender. The “Modern C”-shaped maple Telecaster neck sports a 9.5”-radius fingerboard for enhanced playability, along with 22 narrow-tall frets and a bone nut. Other stylish touches include a silver Fender logo on the headstock and a “Limited Edition” neck plate.

Interesting pillowcase that does run cool to the touch
To begin: I'm a 64 y/o woman who still gets hot flashes, despite air-conditioning and a fan blowing on me at night. It's the sheets off then blankets on routine that so many of us know. I ordered this pillowcase hoping that I would find some kind of relief in the night, even it was only for my head. The fabric is very unusual. It's a silky nylon blend, very swishy and soft. It reminds me of luxury, expensive women's lingerie. It's extremely slippery, moreso when you have your head on it; there certainly won't be any resistance or pulling on the hair all night. I washed it before using it, put it in a mesh bag to protect it from getting snagged. It washed and dried as good as new. One thing to note: because it is so slippery the pillow may want to slide a little out of the pillowcase. I slept quite well and did not experience any heat or sweating on it. The reason for the 4* and not 5* is the price, at almost $20 it is a bit pricey for a rectangle of nylon fabric. I could see if it were real silk, but it's not. Otherwise it's exactly what it purports to be.
