This is our last release of 2022 and it is a "stealth" one! The Taco Mario Two Fiesta Medal 2022 was an idea hatched between Tony and was to be his main medal this year. We thought we'd upgrade Mario's style with the Mario Two aesthetic, but after working and reworking, it always looked goofy on the computer screen. This first made an appearance at our Pin Pandemonium table — I always like to sneak something new in at Pin Pan!
Mario Two was a game that has largely been forgotten as the gameplay was super weird (you threw vegetables after all!), but is remembered by many. Since we put all that work in, I thought it would be fun to do a very small run of these medals (I have 100 and Tony has 25) for 8-bit fans. And what is crazy is that they turned out AWESOME! Enjoy and VIVA FIESTA! $1 will be donated to the Rey Feo Scholarship Foundation for every medal sold in 2022!
