With its unique electronics configuration, offset body, and floating vibrato tailpiece, it's easy to see why! Today, Fender takes a step with the Vintera '60s Jaguar Modified HH toward more modern functions and playability, keeping the original Jaguar at its heart.
This Vintera entry begins with two high-output Atomic humbucking pickups. Replacing the Jaguar single-coils, these humbuckers retain the clarity and nuance that made the original design famous while simultaneously breaking the usual mold. A maple neck in a "Modern C" profile is paired with a pau ferro fingerboard and twenty-two medium-jumbo frets for quick movement and fast fretting. An Adjusto-Matic bridge lands on this modified Vintera for solid intonation with the classic Jaguar floating tremolo tailpiece, so sweet vibrato bends are still easily accessible.
