Now I live in Sweden, and there is one (1) variety of conifer that is acceptable: the spruce. Called "gran" in Swedish, this is the classic tree. Spruce branches are also used in other holiday decorations, and that's where we are today. These branches are used in holiday wreaths and also as general decoration.
