Details

Though Joseph Martin Kraus (1756-1792) became the most influential Swedish musician of the 18th century, he was born and educated in Germany and lived only eight years in Stockholm before his early death at the age of 36. Yet in that brief period he had taught composers and created the Swedish school of opera. Kraus had a lifelong fascination with drama and unsurprisingly his symphonies are full of unexpected twists and turns and contain many forward-looking stylistic devices that anticipate music of the next century. The Sinfonia in C minor (VB 142) can be considered Krauss most popular work; it has remained more or less in the repertory since its inception. All three movements of this powerful Sturm und Drang work are based on the Sinfonia in C minor (VB 140), composed a couple of years earlier. It begins with the same homage to Glucks Iphigenie en Aulide overture, and both the second and final movements (the models rather quirky minuetto al rovescio is omitted from this revision) are all based on the same principal themes, transposed from the tonally obscure key of c minor to the more common c minor. With the exception of the last movement, however, substantial changes have been made, so that this work is essentially longer and larger than the model from which it sprang. Allan Badley

Problems solved quickly
Size: 16inch, Color: 2 Sets
I ordered this shelving unit because I love the way it looks and it fit the space it's intended for perfectly. When it arrived it looked exactly as described. So happy, then I discovered no hardware. Dread. Memorial Day weekend, 11pm. I took a chance and got ahold of Amazon. Within 30 minutes they instructed me on how to get ahold of the manufacturer. And by the time I went to bed at 6am the manufacturer was working on a plan to get me the parts needed. Originally it was going to take a month to get the parts sent from China, but they came up with a better solution. Not only do I have the parts that were missing but I received them two days ago. Delivery was expected today the 5th. I decided to give 5 stars because initially yes I was upset, but they did their due diligence to make sure I received what was ordered and in a timely manner.

Holds a Lot!
Size: 16inch, Color: 2 Sets
These shelves hold a good bit of smaller items and I love that cups can hang from the hooks. The shelf is real wood and a lovely stain. I wish the baskets didn't come all the way out, but sometimes that's more handy than fishing around inside them while they're in place. I bought four of these shelving units (they're packaged as two) to hang together as a group on a kitchen wall over my coffee station. They make quite an impression when grouped together. Although these shelving units are not large, they are big enough and the shelf is deep enough to hold things of substance. A great way to organize an area and make it look neat.

Super cute comes with a stand perfect to place as a decoration. Comes clean and cured also with instructions on how to take care of its perfect since its my first ever bamboo product. Not too heavy and has non slip things in the bottom for when cutting it doesn’t slip. I 100% recommend not only that it’s very affordable for the quality you might think its expensive because it feels expensive!!
