Stamina is a new luck-mitigating resource each player must manage, spending it freely to re-roll or dodge damage, and restoring it by resting.
Each prisoner now has a simple, unique, once per game special ability.
The essence of the game remains the same: Escape the Dark Castle is a simple, cooperative game of retro-atmospheric adventure.
The goal of the game is for players to complete every chapter in the castle deck, then defeat the final boss. To win, they must keep every member of the team alive - if any player is killed, the game ends immediately!
