This minimalist Telecaster with vintage-style charm enters Fender's Telecaster's 75th Anniversary Collection, celebrating three quarters of a century of the iconic model. This Cabronita-style Tele, entering as part of Fender's new American Professional Classic series, makes for an eye-catching, alternative take for the limited-time 75th Anniversary Collection.
Reminiscent of the barebones Fenders of generations past, the American Professional Classic Cabronita sets off. An alder body assumes the iconic single-cutaway profile with a cool Ice Blue Metallic nitrocellulose lacquer gloss finish. This light and resonant body wood feels and plays similarly to so many of the great Fenders of years past. A maple neck extends out from this body in a Modern "C" profile for slim and sleek travels from higher to lower registers. Filling out to a fingerboard bearing twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets across a 9.5" radius, this Cabronita Tele plays with a smooth, modern feel at every turn.
For its voice, this American Professional Classic model loads in two TV Jones TV Classic humbuckers. These distinctly vintage-voiced humbuckers throw it back to a legacy of tones from the 1950s that fired up a whole rock and roll lineage. A single master volume control and a three-way pickup selector toggle makes control of the TV Jones' killer tones effortless at every turn. A six-saddle Vintage-Style strings-thru hardtail Tele bridge lands at the base of the scale with six polished block steel saddles while Deluxe cast sealed tuning machines keep intonation steady. An included Deluxe hardshell case travels with this limited 75th Anniversary Telecaster Collection model.
