The BD name became recognized in 1989, when the company introduced the first exhaust brake for the burgeoning diesel pick-up truck market. BD's roots, however, actually date back to 1972, when Valley Fuel Injection, Ltd. first opened its doors. Today, Valley Fuel Injection and BD Diesel Performance are one, with eight specialty divisions that focus on diesel power train components: Fuel Injection Calibration Department, Exhaust Brake Manufacturing, Electronic Circuit Design and Assembly, Transmission and Torque Converter Design and Remanufacturing, Turbocharger Design, Installation and Research and Development. We read this story as a class read aloud after we read the first Sprinkles and the Unicorn book. They noticed similar characters, and loved the story line. They’re begging me to buy the whole series of this and all the other books! I can’t read them fast enough.

8yr old loves this book!

The storyline here is so fun. My 8yr old needs pictures to avoid feeling overwhelmed by word counts. This is a good balance that keeps her engaged. She's chosen to pick up the book to read without being prompted, which is a win.

Captured a reluctant readers attention
Format: Kindle
We downloaded this book this morning for the Kindle. My daughter is a reluctant chapter book reader, but she saw the cover and was hooked. She loves cats. She read the whole book independently in one sitting and then started rereading it!
I think reading it on the Kindle helped because it gave her percentages of her progress and made her more motivated to finish it!
