Discover 'Beyond the Two-State Solution', a groundbreaking analysis by Yehouda Shenhav that challenges the traditional paradigm of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This compelling book explores the limitations of the two-state solution, emphasizing its failure to address the complex realities faced by both Israelis and Palestinians. With over two decades of liberal attempts to establish peace based on the Green Line, many have hoped to revert to pre-1967 borders. However, Shenhav asserts that this vision ignores historical truths and the ongoing struggles of Palestinian refugees. The narrative dives deep into the creation of a state in 1948 that prioritized Jewish identity over Palestinian rights, presenting a more inclusive approach to resolving the conflict. Shenhav invites readers to consider a fresh perspective: the abandonment of the Green Line and the establishment of a new political framework that acknowledges the rights of all parties involved. Rich in historical analysis and critical thought, this 256-page book published by John Wiley & Sons is designed for readers seeking a deeper understanding of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the potential pathways toward peace.Note: Shipping for this item is free. Description:
For over two decades, many liberals in Israel have attempted, with
wide international support, to implement the two-state solution:
Israel and Palestine, partitioned on the basis of the Green Line -
that is, the line drawn by the 1949 Armistice Agreements that
defined Israel?s borders until 1967, before Israel occupied
the West Bank and Gaza following the Six-Day War. By going back to
Israel?s pre-1967 borders, many people hope to restore Israel
to what they imagine was its pristine, pre-occupation character and
to provide a solid basis for a long-term solution to the
Israeli-Palestinian conflict
In this original and controversial essay, Yehouda Shenhav argues
that this vision is an illusion that ignores historical realities
and offers no long-term solution. It fails to see that the real
problem is that a state was created in most of Palestine in 1948 in
which Jews are the privileged ethnic group, at the expense of the
Palestinians - who also must live under a constant state of
emergency. The issue will not be resolved by the two-state
solution, which will do little for the millions of Palestinian
refugees and will also require the uprooting of hundreds of
thousands of Jews living across the Green Line. All these obstacles
require a bolder rethinking of the issues: the Green Line should be
abandoned and a new type of polity created on the complete
territory of mandatory Palestine, with a new set of constitutional
arrangements that address the rights of both Palestinians and Jews,
including the settlers.

Lab tested. Lab approved.
Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 24"
My two Labradors make quick work of these. They love them. But Not very durable. Stuffing everywhere.

Our dog loves them
Style: Latex Surpise Color, Size: 6"
Not for every type of dog, but our dog LOVES these things. Try one and see how it goes. They are cheap, so no great loss if your dog doesn't like it, But if it does, you'll have a great time with them. Best $3 I could spend

Tie a Knot in it if it rips
Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 6", Style: Plush Surprise Color, Size: 6"
My puppy split the middle belly seam in about 5 minutes of spirited play with the white foam and squeak assembly scattered about, but he loves these loofa toys - goes nuts for them. Went through a couple of the little $3 ones so I tried this big one which he ripped apart. But I tied a knot in the middle of it over the ripped part and guess what, it's better than before. He loves the whipping the big knot around. The part where it ripped was where they filled it I think but the rest of the stitching is really quite solid. Takes a beating, to a point. The little ones lasted a reasonable time before they were totally played.

Do research
Size: Small
My pups love to shred things. This was a good toy for them to satisfy their need to shred things. My dogs are on the smaller side and I went with a small. I do encourage people to do their research and not leave this toy unsupervised. If your dog eats toys they shred this might not be a good toy for you. Coconut fiber can become impacted if too much is consumed. Unlike other reviewers I didn’t notice to much of a mess outside any other toy a dog might shred.

Not Suitable for Power Chewers
Size: Large
Coconut fiber toys aren’t ideal for heavy chewers. They shred easily, can be swallowed, and may cause choking or intestinal blockages. The coffee wood is a safe durable product and loved but my dogs. I wish I would have done more research before buying the coconut fibers chew.
