The Vox AC30CC2 (CC for "Custom Classic") was a redesigned approach to the original AC30. It's chassis design bears a close resemblance to the original schematic, but incorporates a new approach to the preamp and control panel. Normal and Top Boost channels are here, as are interactive bass and treble for the top boost side. The "Input Link" toggle allows the user to blend the AC30CC2's two channels without the need of a Y-cable. On the Top Boost channel, the "Standard/Custom" toggle switch effects the response of the channel's EQ section. The AC30CC2 also features footswitchable three-spring reverb and tube tremolo. On the back panel are main and extension speaker outputs, effects loop, and TRS footswitch input. The AC30CC2 has plenty of clean headroom for classic "chime" and "jangle". Dime out the top boost channel and it will, it will rock you. A quartet of EL-84 power tubes deliver the iconic response and quickness of a Class A Vox amplifier. The AC30CC2 is a Vox combo with classic namesake tone and modern features and functions.
