Dive into 'Reclaiming Populism,' a groundbreaking analysis that explores the socio-economic storms stirred by contemporary populist movements like Trump, Brexit, and the Gilets Jaunes. This meticulously researched book, published by John Wiley & Sons in 2021, investigates the roots of economic unfairness and its pivotal role in fuelling discontent among citizens worldwide. With a focus on concepts like income inequality, family origins, social mobility, and illiberal populism, it reveals how societal structures can be rigged against meritocracy.Through compelling evidence and original research cited by respected institutions such as the UN and IMF, authors Protzer and Summerville present a comprehensive framework to address these issues. Description:
Populist upheavals like Trump, Brexit, and the Gilets Jaunes happen when the system really is rigged. Citizens the world over are angry not due to income inequality or immigration, but economic unfairness: that opportunity is not equal and reward is not according to contribution.
This forensic book draws on original research, cited by the UN and IMF, to demonstrate that illiberal populism strikes hardest when success is influenced by family origins rather than talent and effort. Protzer and Summerville propose a framework of policy inputs that instead support high social mobility, and apply it to diagnose the differing reasons behind economic unfairness in the US, UK, Italy, and France. By striving for a fair, socially-mobile economy, they argue, it is possible to craft a politics that reclaims the reasonable grievances behind populism.
Reclaiming Populism is a must-read for policymakers, scholars, and citizens who want to bring disenchanted populist voters back into the fold of liberal democracy.

very comfortable and thicker than a regular yoga mat
Color: Pink, Style: 1/2 Inch
This yoga mat is very comfortable and thicker than a regular yoga mat. The quality is excellent, and it doesn't have that strong rubber smell that many mats have. I'm very happy with it!

This is a nice mat for floor exercises.
Color: Aqua, Style: 1-Inch
I had some lower back issues and went to physical therapy. I used this mat for my floor stretches and exercises at home along with my big rubber ball. It made the floor work so much more comfortable. Beware of the smell. When I unroll it I still smell that “memory foam” odor, which takes some getting used to. I aired it out as instructed, twice, and it persists. It’s a wonderful mat so the odor is not a deal breaker. I’d buy it again.

Love my mat!
Color: Pink, Style: 1/2 Inch
I’m new to stretching and recovery classes, and there is a lot of floor work. I was using the gym mats, but my knees, lower back, and glutes were hurting from being on the floor.
This mat is the perfect thickness and feels wonderful during floor exercises. It gives me the extra cushion I need without being difficult to use. It’s also lightweight, durable, easy to clean, and easy to roll up for transport. The pink makes me smile. That said , the mat makes the classes more enjoyable.
