Description:
Widely regarded as one of the great Aboriginal leaders of the modern era, Rob Riley was at the centre of debates that have polarised views on race relations in Australia: national land rights, the treaty, deaths in custody, self-determination, the justice system, native title and the Stolen Generations. He tragically took his own life in 1996, weighed down by the unresolved traumas of his exposure to institutionalisation, segregation and racism, and his sense of betrayal by the Australian political system to deliver justice to Aboriginal people. His death shocked community leaders and ordinary citizens alike. Set against the tumultuous background of racial politics in an unreconciled nation, the book explores Rob's rise and influence as an Aboriginal activist. Drawing on perspectives from history, politics and psychology, this work explores Rob's life as a 'moral protester' and the challenges he confronted in trying to change the destiny of a nation.Rob Riley's belief that he had failed in this quest raises profound questions about the legacy of past racial policies, the extent of institutionalised racism in Australia and the reluctance of Australia's politicians to show leadership on race. Much of Riley's life was a triumph of the human spirit against great adversity, and this legacy remains.

Cute, with effective self adhesive
Color: Gold, Color: Gold
These are super cute.
I’ll start with the packaging:
The kit comes all together in a plastic pouch. There are three sheets of gold stud stickers, and a separately packaged pair of application tweezers. The sheets are individually packaged with a thin cardboard backing to keep them from wrinkling, and they themselves are stuck onto a transparent sheet of plastic.
They are secured with tiny plastic double sided stickers on the back, similar to double sided tape. Note: sometimes the stud pulls right off the sticker, but you can grab that bad boy gently with the tweezers, peel it off, and stick it right back on without losing any adhesive property.
I decided to just experiment with them to see how they work. I was able to move the studs from one part of my face to another, testing out what different piercings might look like, and on the third location change I just left them there and they stayed perfectly fine without falling off. So don’t let the occasional sticker pulling away from the stud concern you; the self adhesive is actually pretty legit!
I know I look like I haven’t slept in three years, but including a picture after I had already moved them around a few times so you can see how they managed to keep their stickiness.
I plan to do an elaborate makeup look and utilize them for it tomorrow so I might come back and add cooler pictures of that as well!

Chewing pups love them.
My 8 mo Morkie loves them . The other two won't touch them . They're heavier than I expected but Belle doesn't seem to mind that. Great for dogs that like to chew!

Meh..., I'll stick to fave pig ear chews
Only 4 for $6, idk these don't last long. I wanted to try them because my dogs love being spoiled but I think I'll stick to pig ears at a discount from Petco. They are very hard, some chews crumble or soften as the dogs knaw at them during the day. However these chews didn't last longer than 10 minutes compared to actual no rawhide alternatives I have used. These didn't do that. No upset stomach so that's a plus. The smell was similar to pig ears also, texture was different. No slimy residue w/ it unlike with the regular 100% pig ears. Helped with plague build up but there is still plague on insicor tooth. Probably won't buy again, meh.
