Fancy Wolf's "Parallel Gain Machine" is just that, two effects running at once. Instead of having to choose between putting the S&S's gnarly fuzz before its crisp overdrive or vice versa, the pedal allows players to interact the two together, running in parallel, and adjust different levels, mixes, and tone settings. What this all culminates in is a fuzz and overdrive combo unlike any other.
Punch it on "Scoop" to bring the pedal's engulfing fuzz to the forefront or roll it back to subdue it for buzzing undercurrents. Push "Scream" to its limits to get your authentic heated tube amp tone or reel it in to introduce some crispness and warmth to the signal. Each effect complements the other and creates excellent distorted mixes. Anywhere you land on the six dials, it's a mix of fuzz and distortion all its own.
The Scoop and Scream can also be used to split its signal into two amps with its side output jack used at the same time as its top output jack. This allows players to effectively "double track" while recording. With a countless number of unique tones to conjure and distorted sweet spots to strike, the Scoop & Scream opens a new world in its compact, single-footswitch casing.
