Beginning with the iconic offset body formed from alder, this double-cutaway, distinctly Californian shape is instantly recognizable and authentically Fender. The choice of alder makes the instrument easily handled and carried, in addition to ensuring its vibrance as a canvas for great tonality. This model’s Modern “C”-shaped maple neck slides smoothly into hand for easy travels from higher to lower registers and is matched with a slab rosewood fingerboard measuring with a radius of 9.5”. Outfitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets, this fingerboard plays dynamically and frets comfortably for quick trips across its full twenty-four-inch scale length – a classic Jaguar specification.
