A striking and substantial 19th century French trestle console table, handcrafted in solid walnut and originating from the Normandy region near Mont Saint-Michel, circa 1880s. Steeped in ecclesiastical heritage, this timeless piece reflects the rustic refinement of monastic craftsmanship and the enduring utility of French Provincial design.

Originally built for communal meals or daily gatherings in a French monastery, this long, narrow table retains its authentic form but now serves beautifully as a console behind a sofa, along the wall of a grand salon, or as a dramatic entryway statement piece. Its thick, single slab rectangular top bears the honest marks of time — softened edges, slight undulations, and subtle wear that speak to generations of use. Below, a pair of sculptural trestle supports is joined by a single pegged mortise-and-tenon stretcher, providing strength, visual balance, and architectural character. The boldly carved, tiered bases echo the rhythm of Northern French abbeys, anchoring the piece with a sense of timeless craftsmanship.

Aged to perfection, the walnut retains its rich hue and luminous patina, a finish only acquired through decades of faithful use. Color variations, surface irregularities, and visible tool marks honor its hand-worked origins, while exposed pegs and hand cut joinery further enhance its historic charm.

Whether placed in a dramatic hallway, elegant entryway, behind a sofa, or in front of a window in a cozy library, this antique monastery console adds both soul and structure to any space — seamlessly bridging traditional and modern interiors.

A Difficult to Find T-Shirt
These T-Shirts are nice. A super difficult to find. The manufacturer calls it a mock-turtle neck (MTN). But the collar height is actually a bit shorter than the traditional MTN, which is great. It's closer to a regular T-Shirt that comes all the way to the neckline. And very somt a comfortable. This is the perfect style of T-Shirt to wear under a sportscoat, if desired. Or under a shirt where you want the T-Shirt to show for contrast. Just the right look.

Nice shirts for the price! But do not recommend for thick body types.
I bought 3 different ones. 2 Mediums and 1 2XL. The mediums fit correct and really nice! Would definitely recommend for the price! More like a exercise material, and sticks to your body shape... Sooo the 2Xl did not fit the person correct. Was so tight... And the strech is to stick to your body... So would not recommend for anyone a bit hefty or fit tbh. But the shirts are good materials and feel nice for a fresh day out or to use as gym clothes!!
