This Gibson Custom Shop '61 ES-335 features a Murphy Lab Ultra Light relicing treatment, aged nickel hardware, and a beautiful, dark Antique Ebony finish. As an iconic instrument deeply rooted in the heritage of the electric guitar, the ES-335 model has continually evolved while keeping its timeless appeal. This Murphy Lab Ultra Light rendition pays respect to the 1961 ES-335, built to embody vintage aesthetics and sonic excellence while having its own modern flair and playability at the same time.

The body of this '61 ES-335 is figured from 3-ply maple/poplar/maple, and features two iconic 335 F-holes, and off-white binding surrounding its perimeter. However, the neck of this guitar is the star of the show. Cut from solid mahogany into an authentic feeling, Skinny "C" this neck is meant to fit right into the back of the palm with ease, allowing players to reach the fingerboard with the thumb if they'd like to. The neck's read features the heaviest checking on the instrument. On the neck, a lovely, dark Indian rosewood fingerboard features 22 frets, and pearloid dot inlays. The total scale length of this instrument is 24.75 inches.

Stocked with Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups in both bridge and neck, this '61 ES-335 is made to shine with the same sonic delivery that can be heard by an original vintage Gibson. The control layout consists of two volume and two tone knobs, enabling precise manipulation of the instrument's sonic character. The pots are handwired with CTS 500K taper pots, and the caps feature oil-in-paper dialectrics.

The Light Aged Murphy Lab finish emulates an instrument that's been played with care since its birth in 1961, and its hardware features Kluson tuning machines in aged nickel and an ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, for a vintage-inspired aesthetic. This guitar comes complete with a hard case.

Nice umbrella stand
This stand is sturdy enough for my 9 ft umbrella. I only used water to fill it so it can be moved if necessary. The umbrella is taken down if it gets too windy as it would be damaged. This would not be the fault of the stand, just the nature of living near the coast.

Umbrella base
This umbrella base comes with a hole in it, in order for you to put sand in / water. You could get water in it a lot easier than you could sand. There's a tiny hole and the sand does not go very well down that hole. I've had a hard time trying to get the sand in. It is round in shape which makes it easier in the wind to tip over. But all in all for the price it was okay.

Great weight
Very easy to put together and fill with water. Strong winds today and so far so good without a table to support it. If I need to I can add sand later. I wish I had one of these years ago

Perfec
Nice I used this as a replacement to something else I had: the other thing was too bulky so this was a perfect fit under the table gives more room
