The Spartacus HD Tire Carrier System for 97-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ, Rubicon and Unlimited delivers the perfect balance of strength/stability, allowing you to carry up to a 35 tire/wheel combo without all the extra weight of steel bumper-mounted tire carriers. The Spartacus HD Tire Carrier incorporates a brutally strong die-cast aluminum hinge casting, forged steel hinges and hardened steel pins that replaces the feeble stock tailgate hinges for greater load-bearing capacity while still allowing smooth, one-handed access to the cargo area. The HD Tire Carrier Wheel Mount is constructed of sturdy steel and gives the spare a slanted mounting position so it can handle those over-sized wheel/tire combinations while maintaining optimum bumper clearance. It even permits use with the factory high mount brake light. Both the hinge casting and wheel mount are protected with a durable black textured powder coat to fend off the elements in even the harshest off-road conditions. Very nice quality and appearance

They were surprisingly stout and went together well. We had to return them because when we took them to where they would be used, they were too big to work in that location. Dang. But if we needed them in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase them.

Good Multi-use Panels

We threw it away

This thing cannot stand on its own, the side bars bend since it is not sturdy enough to handle the material screens. After assembly, I was so mad at it, the pleasure of crushing it was better than returning it. I tryed to think of other ways to use it, but could not… i kept the screens, they are the strongest part of this thing. Very disappointing
