The colors include the rich reddish brown of Mesquite heartwood, the golden to grayish yellow of Mesquite sapwood, and the dark brown of Mesquite bark. It has a strong and mostly linear grain pattern. It has full bark on the back and could be turned for either a conventional bowl or a "barky" natural edge

It has a strong and mostly linear grain pattern. It has full bark on the back and could be turned for either a conventional bowl or a "barky" natural-edge bowl. There are several drying checks present, as shown in the close-up photo. You will likely want to stabilize these prior to turning. I have trimmed this half-log blank to rough-round to reduce the shipping weight and to better reveal the internal quality. |

Works well if you wear them every day

These heel socks do work, but you need to be consistent and patient. The socks are soft with a gel lining on the inside that basically traps your body heat and moisture—kind of like a mini spa for your feet. My heels felt noticeably softer after just one hour of wearing them.
That said, I don’t love sleeping with socks on, so it took me two nights to get used to them. I even took them off the first night because I couldn’t stand the feeling. After five nights of use with nightly exfoliating, my heels are definitely softer, but still cracked in some areas. I’m hoping they keep improving with continued use.
If you stick with it and exfoliate regularly, these socks definitely help soften rough skin. Not a miracle fix overnight, but a helpful tool for healing cracked heels.

A must for the summer

Works for foot psoraisis
Size: 2 pairs black L
Got these for work (service industry) to reduce issues with psoriasis and blisters while putting on 20k+ steps a day. Over time the wounds healed and I could work without so much pain. I now don't use them all the time like I used to, only when a new lesion or blister appears, too prevent a breakout. Tip: if you're not in full breakout, wear thick socks under these as a barrier to friction.
