INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Naveed Saleh is a book author, freelance science writer, journalism expert, and editor based in San Diego. He has written for MDLinx, Medscape, Dotdash, and the Cancer Network. He's a long-time blogger with Psychology Today and the Amazon best-selling author of The Complete Guide to Article Writing (Writer's Digest Books) and The Writer's Guide to Self-Editing (McFarland). Naveed is also a consultant, instructor, lecturer, and course developer with Writer's Digest University. Naveed was a contributing writer at The New Physician magazine, where he performed a professional internship and won a 2010 Apex Award for Health & Medical Writing. Naveed attained a bachelor's degree in biology from Cornell University, a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, and a master's degree in science journalism from Texas A&M University in College Station.
