I love finding these gorgeous vintage art plates. These were preserved from a 1909 Farm Weeds of Canada Book.
The binding was quite tattered and the book cover had lost all of its integrity. I managed to save almost all of the plates minus a handful that had holes or tears in them.
These 7 by 10 prints are done on a thicker textured opalescent paper with a lovely naturally aged tinge to them and beautiful desaturated tones. I decided to offer then in sets of three since they show so beautifully in a gallery style setting. Sizes may vary ever so slightly.
