Tighter Skin with the Stroke of a Plasma Pen
Modern plasma technology converts gas from the environment into an electric arc by ionising the surrounding oxygen into nitrogen. The attached needle of the Wonderlift Plasma Pen Medical G3 does not touch the patient's skin. The non-contact proximity is sufficient to guide the ionised arc onto the skin. When this plasma arc touches the skin it ablates microscopic dots across the skin's surface. The surrounding skin contracts into the area and tightens around it giving a shrinking and lifting effect. This process is called sublimation.

The procedure can be used for various indications due to the large number of attachments available. Especially in dermatology and cosmetics, plasma technology is often used for wrinkle treatment and skin tightening. For example, non-invasive upper or lower eyelid lifts are a much gentler alternative to upper eyelid surgery.
