Scarce first edition of historian and historical novelist Hilda Frances Margaret Prescott's (1896-1972) travelogue based on Swiss Dominican friar and theologian Felix Fabri's (1441-1502) Evagatorium, recording his second pilgrimage to the Holy Land, which led him to Sinai and Egypt as well. Inbetween travelogue and historiography, this is a lively account and re-telling of Fabri's experience in the Middle East.
