Pale yellow with very fine bubbles; ripe peach, crisp green apple, and lemon on the nose with acacia, rose, and a nuanced light spicy Mediterranean character; fresh and soft on the palate with well-balanced acidity and a smooth, elegant finish. A wine that fuses ancient Roman tradition with modern Italian style — its name derived from Roman numerals, its grape variety beloved by Livia Drusilla, wife of Augustus.
