The BM Performance Centre, GKTech F8X M2/M3/M4, G8X M3/M4 Front Caster Rod spherical bearing replacements are designed to replace the factory OEM rubber bush.
OEM rubber bushes are designed to absorb road noise but that comes at the cost of performance. It's common for upgrades to be made of a harder rubber or a polyurethane but rather than a polyurethane or rubber bushing we have chosen to use a spherical bearing to significanty reduce bush deflection and ensure a much smoother operation throughout the range of suspension travel.
We have chosen to use a common (COM16T) spherical bearing which is PTFE lined and self lubricating for increased longevity. Simply press out the OEM bush and press the replacement unit in it's place.
