The brilliant clarity speaks to the quality of fruit from vines planted in 1978 and 1998 in the cool, continental Grampians wine region, where the climate and soils suit the Riesling variety perfectly.
Aroma
The nose is aromatic and spicy, revealing intense notes of kaffir lime and lemon rind that create an inviting aromatic profile. Green apple and nashi pear add complexity, whilst white florals and blossom provide elegant lift. The wine displays an almost crystalline lemon-lime essence quality that impresses and resonates deep, showcasing the varietal intensity and fine delicacy of touch that defines Grampians Riesling at its very best.
