The M48AVLB (Armored Vehicle Launched Bridge) is a military bridge-laying vehicle modified from the chassis of the M48 tank in the United States.
The vehicle has a combat weight of 53 tons, a crew of 2, a height of 3.9 meters, a maximum highway speed of 48 kilometers per hour, and a maximum range of 500 kilometers.
The vehicle is equipped with a scissor bridge, and the erection mechanism is driven by hydraulic pressure, enabling bridge erection to be completed in just 3 minutes. The dismantling operation can be carried out from either end of the bridge, and the time required for bridge dismantling varies between 10 and 60 minutes depending on ground conditions.
NOTICE: This model kit requires assembly and painting. Paints and tools are not included and is sold separately.
