Texas Ebony Block TE-554 1.75" x 1.75" x 8"Texas Ebony Block TE 554 1. 75" x 1. 75" x 8" 1. 2 lbs. This is a beautiful piece of Texas Ebony heartwood. We've cut it into spindles of 1 3 4" across and 8" long. The grain on this piece is long and straight, with swirls around small and infrequent burl buds. There is a small amount of creamy beige sapwood along the front face of the block. We have air dried this Texas Ebony log for 5+ years. Moisture content is 10 12%. Janka hardness is 2820 lbf.

The grain on this piece is long and straight, with swirls around small and infrequent burl buds. There is a small amount of creamy beige sapwood along the front face of the block. We have air-dried this Texas Ebony log for 5+ years. Moisture content is 10-12%. Janka hardness is 2820 lbf. Density is 80 lb/ft3. This wood is very dense and hard, one of the hardest available in North America. The finished products are exquisite. This block has some very minor end-grain checking (see close-up photo). There is one small, open crack that you may wish to glue up prior to turning. |

Must have book😊

Every clinician should have this book on their shelf and close at hand. If you write a lot of reports and case notes, this book is extremely helpful. It assists you with choosing the best statements to use in your reports. Can't say enough great things about this handbook. It's all you need, and I have been buying this book for years, since the first edition! Great to give as a gift to beginning clinicians. Not only for psych reports but useful for all clinical reports
