The heat treated center balls are cross-drilled for thru-bolt lubrication and the joint internals are retained with 2 heavy duty, heat treated side washers and a snap ring. This specific joint features a narrow 2 in. diameter joint body, fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, 2.3 in. of 3/4 in.-16 right hand threads on the shank, and a 1.750 in. mounting width ball with a .641 thru bolt hole. This is a fashion watch people! Many people review these sub-50 dollar watches like they are supposed to be a timepiece you would hand down to your grandchildren. This is not that. If that's what you are looking for, spend more money. What this is: A decent looking inexpensive watch that is a homage to a much more expensive watch. If you expect the quality of a Brew Metric, purchase that. This keeps good time and is comfortable.
