Death By Audio's Octave Clang V2 is a resurrection of the legendary fuzz that was discontinued in 2017. The Octave Clang has returned, revamped and refined after an almost decade-long hiatus, ready to unleash its sound upon the world once more.
The Octave Clang V2 boasts a footswitch-able octave generation that opens up a world of sonic possibilities. With wide-ranging distortion controls, you can sculpt discordant ringing drones, visceral octave scrapes, and ground-shaking distortion with ease.
Refined and extended controls allow for precise manipulation of your sound. The Volume control lets users dial in the perfect output level, while the Gain knob pushes the circuitry into overdrive and fuzz territory with up to +39dB of gain. The Tone control acts as a powerful pre-gain tilt EQ, shaping the highs and lows to create a range of tones from blown-out to cutting and clear.
The Octave Clang V2 also offers an Inner Control feature: Bias. This control allows for misbiasing the distortion circuitry, altering the character of the distortion to achieve a rougher sound.
