RÉSUMÉ: Adolescente, Martha Caldwell a réchappé d’une catastrophe ferroviaire dans laquelle elle a vu mourir ses parents, traumatisme qui l'a rendue muette. Quinze ans ont passé quand Martha, qui vit désormais avec son oncle Ralph, féru d'occultisme, dans une propriété située à Montseny, dans les Pyrénées espagnoles, reçoit la visite de sa cousine Jenny Ascot, célèbre chanteuse résidant en Angleterre. Cette dernière est mortellement poignardée durant la nuit. La police mène son enquête, tandis que d'autres meurtres surviennent. Les soupçons se portent vers une secte sataniste, à moins qu'il ne s'agisse d'un tueur en série isolé. Dans un cas comme dans l’autre, Martha pourrait bien être la prochaine victime…
A PROPOS DU FILM: Le Couteau de glace est le cinquième giallo réalisé par Umberto Lenzi, et le quatrième mettant en vedette Carroll Baker (Paranoïa). Servi par un casting de stars rompues au genre, parmi lesquelles Ida Galli (Exorcisme tragique), George Rigaud (Les Rendez-vous de Satan) et Eduardo Fajardo (Un joli corps qu’il faut tuer), Le Couteau de glace peut être considéré comme le thriller le plus abouti de son auteur, bénéficiant à la fois d'un scénario habile et d'une mise en scène efficace, ainsi que d’une Carroll Baker ici au sommet de son art. Poor sole design could result in injury to heel.

These would be so much better if the sole did not expose the heel to possible punctures. There is an actual cutout of the sole where only the spongy part of the shoe is exposed to the heel. Anything sharp will go right through.

Good comfort, quality and classy

’ve been wearing Cole Haan dress sneakers for work and travel, and they strike a really good balance between professional and comfortable. The biggest advantage is how lightweight they feel compared to traditional dress shoes. Most styles have sneaker-like cushioning, so you can walk or stand all day without your feet getting destroyed.
