This guitar features a carved maple top set against a solid mahogany body, offering the look and structure of a classic Singlecut silhouette. The neck is also mahogany and carved to PRS’s Pattern Vintage profile, which combines a slightly thicker depth with a subtle taper for a grip that feels substantial without being cumbersome. The bound rosewood fingerboard features a 10" radius and PRS’s signature bird inlays across 22 frets. With a 24.594" scale length, the string tension and spacing sit right in the sweet spot for players who demand articulate feel and tuning stability without the stiffness of longer scales.
Electronics include a pair of PRS 58/15 LT pickups—wound for clarity and lower output—wired through independent volume and push/pull tone controls, giving the user access to both humbucking and coil-tap voices. The three-way toggle selector allows quick shifts between pickups, and the PRS two-piece stoptail bridge (zinc base, brass saddles) supports both resonance and precise intonation. This McCarty Singlecut 594 comes finished in a high gloss McCarty Tobacco Sunburst nitrocellulose and includes a hardshell case.
