Taupo mapI made this hand drawn map in May 2022, when we started attending Market Central Taup a New Zealand made only craft market run by Kaz, held every Sunday all year long. We wake up at 4: 00 am from Mount Maunganui to set up our display by 7: 00 am in Taup. Sometimes the roads are foggy, but it's usually an awesome journey. The scenery is everything you imagine about New Zealand: steam rising from craters along the road, rounded green mountains dotted

I made this hand-drawn map in May 2022, when we started attending Market Central Taupō – a New Zealand-made only craft market run by Kaz, held every Sunday all year long. We wake up at 4:00 am from Mount Maunganui to set up our display by 7:00 am in Taupō.

Sometimes the roads are foggy, but it's usually an awesome journey. The scenery is everything you imagine about New Zealand: steam rising from craters along the road, rounded green mountains dotted with sheep and cows.

Taupō is the central town of the North Island, so people from everywhere pass through, traveling from one point to another. We feel like we're part of this town in some way. Locals like John, a teacher, come every Sunday around 9:00 am to say hi and have a lovely chat. We buy eggs, honey, and fruit for the whole week.

This map tries to capture the good vibes we feel every time we visit. Hope you like it!

Fine art prints made from original artwork.

Paper:
340gsm acid-free museum-quality fine art paper with a matte finish and slight texture. This thick, card-like paper ensures longevity and preserves the vibrancy of the colours. Honestly, we love this paper! 😎

Inks:
Printed using Canon Pro-2100 and Pro-1000 printers with archival inks. We’re always amazed by the crispness and depth of the colours.

Packaging:

All prints are packed in an international postal-grade cardboard tube.

We hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoy doing them!

People usually buy this for:

  • A statement art piece for their home 🚀
  • A little something for their partner that they also like 😉
  • Someone leaving and wanting to take a bit of New Zealand with them 🇳🇿
  • A housewarming gift 🏡
  • Sending it to someone homesick for New Zealand 🌎

A classic reinvigorate. Love the chapter that ties the construction of Europe and capitalism.

Loved by an 8 year old
I bought this for my friend’s son when they were taking an 8 hour train ride to Washington DC. He loved the activities and reading about all of the DC sites! It kept him occupied for the majority of the train ride and he carried it with him when they went site seeing! It was age appropriate and developmentally appropriate as well. Just make sure to pack a pencil and crayons too!

Excellent for Elementary Aged Kids!
We bought a second after seeing how great this travel guide is so both of our elementary age kids could have their own. I will buy this brand of travel guide anytime we go anywhere they offer one. It is informative but also has lots of different activities. I highly recommend this.

Format: Kindle
This book is great for kids that already know how to read and it’s actually teaching them how to use a travel guide too. I like that kids can get away from their electronical devices. Could be great for homeschooling resource even if you don’t plan to visit. I downloaded 3 guides until now: Los Angeles, San Diego and Washington, DC (the latest). My kids enjoyed each and every one of them. I plan to purchase the physical books also
