A compact outdoors axe, etched with a wolf head, hand-forged and made from carbon steel using traditional blacksmith methods. The steel is stuck several times, increasing its density and thereby the durability of the axe. Perfect for packing in a rucksack, the axe can also be worn on a belt. It will be a perfect companion in your ventures through the wilds, through the woods of the pacific northwest, or at the cabin to make kindling to warm your hearthside.
It could be also a cute decorative object in your home or handy tool. This axe can be used for all sorts of task include carving, chopping and splitting kindling, and field dressing small game.
It is sharpened.

Color of the handle: brown, with a nice stripe, a part of the handle has a leather wrapping for better grip.

There might be some minor unevenness in the axe head surface due to hand work (manual etching).

The listing price includes a personalization on one side of a handle (name, date, short message, runes, converting words (latin letters) in runes of Elder Futhark or Anglo-Saxon runes) and on one side of an axe head.

If you want to order it with an engraving on a handle, please put the engraving instructions in a line "Personalization" or in a line "Note to seller" while checking out. If you want want to have the engraving in runic words, please mention it clearly in the the order (a line "Personalization" or in a line "Note to seller"). You can put your runes in the order or I can convert your text from English into the runes (runic letters).

Each piece is forged at extremely high temperature and hammered by hand. Pliable when glowing hot, the iron/steel is shaped into graceful, flowing forms.
