CI 8-150 DSP

Multi-Channel Amplifier

The CI8-150 is our flagship CI amplifier. Powerful and refined, with 150 watts per channel of audiophile grade amplification, this distribution amplifier will drive anything you need it to without breaking sweat, and it will do it with class leading performance. NAD CI amplifiers will redefine the way you view distributed audio systems.

NAD CI 8-150 DSP Multi-Channel Network Amplifier

The commonly held belief is that the conventional high-performance amplifier could not live up to the rigours and challenges of the CI application. It is also believed that distribution amplifiers are designed for durability and ease of deployment at the expense of sonic performance. In a nutshell, a system designer needs to choose one or the other. NAD disagrees.

Full Disclosure Power

The CI 8-150 DSP offers NAD’s Masters Series performance in the rack space. As per NAD’s Full Disclosure Power (FDP) ratings, this sophisticated amp is capable of delivering a conservative 150 watts per channel at 8 ohms into all channels simultaneously, bridgeable to 280 watts per channel. IHF Dynamic Power in bridged mode is 4 x 670 watts per channel at 4 ohms. No matter what you throw at the CI 8-150, it won’t flinch.

Hybrid Digital Amplification

The CI 8-150 DSP is designed to deliver uncompromised performance within the custom environment. With its nCore output stage, the CI 8-150 DSP shares the same pedigree as some of NAD’s prestigious Masters Series amplifiers. What makes this amplifier unique is its ability to deliver a level of detail and refinement unmatched by any distribution amplifier on the market today. Being load invariant, the CI 8-150 is as comfortable driving a 4 ohm load as it does anis 8 ohm. The THD and noise floors are beyond what you’d expect from a CI amplifier, meaning that the dynamic range and linearity of this amplifier wouldn’t be out of place in a hi- fi set up.

Rack Space Efficiency and Reliability

NAD is keenly aware that reliability is paramount for a professional installer, so all models will be based on tried and true amplification platforms delivering stable and reliable performance. Since rack real estate is always at a premium, NAD CI amps have been designed to take up as little room as possible. Thermostatic fans draw in cool air from the front of the unit and out through the rear vents, meaning you don’t need to leave ventilation gaps between each unit for them to stay cool.

Web UI/DSP

The CI 8-150 DSP is network ready for simple set up, via the custom WebUI. This allows fast set up , of inputs & outputs, setting gain, stereo/mono and bridging of channels, creation of DSP profiles using the 5 band parametric EQ, plus high and low pass filters to allow the dialing in of the audio in each zone for optimal performance. A variety of power on methods are available as well as an Eco mode setting for minimal power consumption. I/O switching and routing can also be managed via compatible control systems with drivers available for Crestron, Control4, Elan, RTI and URC.

System Suggestion

Combine the CI 8-150 DSP with the CI 580 V2 4 zone BluOS rack mount streamer to create a complete, hi- res multi-room package of incredible value and quality, or upgrade to one of our NAD stereo streamers, such as the C 658 for even better sonic performance. Such is the power and performance of this amplifier which is also at home in a high end custom theatre, and can easily be paired with a T 778 AV receiver or M17 V2 AV processor.

Pack's Promise was okay but not great
Format: Kindle
Pack's Promise was okay but not great. I won't recommend it to anyone that I know. PRO: * Very likable characters * Lots of steamy scenes that are written very well * The spelling and grammar are good * The punctuation is good with the exception of using hyphens instead of commas. Lots of hyphens. Lots and lots of hyphens. CON: * Almost no interactions with any characters outside of Madison and the pack * Nearly no plot. They meet, get together for a heat, agree to make it permanent, done * Quite a few typos such as extraneous words, missing words and words out of order THINGS TO KNOW: * More steamy scenes than storytelling * A lot of MM & MMM, some MFMM during heat

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

A good read
Format: Kindle
A good read, just fluffy cuteness, no antagonism. I like all the characters. It could have used another round of editing however, glanfds being one error that cracked me up, and my personal pet peeve was that the author kept using the word fill instead of feel, which I promise you are not interchangeable haha, but it's definitely better than the majority of books I read on here mistake-wise.

amazing
Format: Kindle
Knot the Bride was a fantastic read! The characters were all amazing and well-developed. It was easy to like them all. Sophia, Luca, Nick, and Gavin were all perfect for each other. It was such a charming story that had me hooked the entire time. I did wish there were POVs from Luca, Nick, and Gavin but it was still an amazing book without it. I am excited to read the next book in the Willowside Omegaverse series! This is definitely a must-read for fans of omegaverse romance!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
