“Growing up, for the first 25 years of my life, I spent most of my time in the glass shop with my dad. Because of that, I learned how to cut glass at a very early age… And to be honest with you, I’m still very good at it. One of the most important things I learned from my dad about cutting glass, is that there is a special ingredient that you need if you’re going to be successful at cutting glass. That ingredient is oil. Through the years, I’ve watched newbies try to cut glass and most of them are unsuccessful at it. The main reason is that they leave off the oil. It’s the Oil that makes the difference.”

In the scriptures, there are several different symbols that are used for the Holy Spirit. One of those symbols is “Oil.”

In this series, Pastor Johnny points out that one of the main reasons Christians and Churches are not as effective as they should be is that they leave off the oil.
