Ready to take your chess to the next level? Getting ready for your first in-person tournament? It might seem intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. We want to make sure your child is ready so they can have fun!
Included in our tournament preparation bundle:
- An online class to learn about the tournament rules, what to expect, how to avoid the fastest checkmates from opponents, and some other playing tips. Kids will also get the chance to practice in an online tournament with their class.
- One in-person class before the tournament begins. In this class we'll cover rules touch-move, and practicing with clocks.
- One tournament! You can choose the specific tournament at a later date. Note: Does not include State tournaments
Classes are appropriate for students in K-8 who want to feel confident and prepared going into their first (or second!) tournament.
