The Roop represented Lithuania, and if this is how they dance in Lithuania I'm all for it. It's charming, weird, peak Eurovision, and a wonderful artistic expression. The phrase "dance like no one is watching" comes to mind, although at least 183 million viewers tuned in to the broadcast. Lithuania finished a respectable 8th place with 220 points. Notably, the jury from Italy (the winning country) gave The Roop 12 points (the maximum score), and it was the top choice for the TV votes in Norway, the UK, Latvia, Ireland and Germany. Clearly, there's a new dance wave about to spread across Europe.
