1965 Fender Twin Reverb Tube Guitar Amplifier w/Calzone Case - UsedThis Fender Twin Reverb is from the early CBS era in 1965 featuring the AB763 circuit and is one of the cleanest examples of a mid 60's Twin Reverb that has passed through our shop. The power, output, choke and reverb transformers are original dating to 1965. The amplifier retains all its original blue molded coupling capacitors as well as a few Astron Electrolytic capacitors and resistors. Most of the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with
This Fender Twin Reverb is from the early CBS era in 1965 featuring the AB763 circuit and is one of the cleanest examples of a mid 60's Twin Reverb that has passed through our shop. The power, output, choke and reverb transformers are original dating to 1965. The amplifier retains all its original blue molded coupling capacitors as well as a few Astron Electrolytic capacitors and resistors. Most of the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced with GE capacitors. The amplifier includes its original black 2 button footswitch and has been switched to a heavy duty 3-prong power cable. One of the original speakers has been replaced with a Jensen C12N, this is not shown in the current photos. The replaced original speaker is included and may be able to be repaired.
This Fender Twin Reverb is in excellent condition. The original face plate is in excellent shape and only has a few blemishes in the far-left corner on the normal channel. Fenders black tolex has held up and is in great shape with only a few blemishes on the top and back side of the cabinet but otherwise it's almost flawless. The grill cloth has aged to a beautiful golden brown with only one small tear a few inches below the Fender logo. Fenders tube chart is overall in great shape and is completely readable with no tears.
