Description:
Cortec® VpCI®-369 D is the diluted, ready-to-use version of VpCI®-369. It is an oil-based lubricating temporary coating that provides corrosion protection in harsh, outdoor, sheltered applications. environments. Leaves an oily film that is self-healing, provides excellent lubricity and salt-spray resistance. If needed, it can be easily removed at the end of the preservation period.
Packaging:
Available in 5 gallon pails. Store indoors and out of direct sunlight at 40-100ºF. Contact Us to get a quote for this product in drums. Also available in a 1:1 dilution as Cortec® VpCI®-369 for a higher concentration of active product.
How to Use:
The surface must be prepared before applying. Mix the product prior to use. It can be applied by spray, brush, roll or dip. Clean tools immediately after use. VpCI®-369 D can be easily removed with alkaline cleaners, such as Cortec® VpCI®-414.
Typical Applications:
It can be used as anti rust oil for three main stages of a metal component's life-cycle: layup, transit and storage. Common applications include: wire rope, sheltered coating, gear protectant and lubricant, long-term equipment lay-up, cylinders and working or moving parts.
