The grain on this block is long and straight with a slight inclination to the long axis of the spindle. The color is a rich red brown with deeper brown stripes. The wood is 8 to 10% moisture content. I see no cracks, checks, or knots. There is an occasional 1/8" diameter bug borehole in these, as shown in the photos -- if a hole is present, you can choose to keep it as an open feature or can fill it with epoxy or CA glue. We've cut multiple of this size of spindle, so the piece you receive will not be exactly the one pictured. It will be its equivalent in quality. |

Puppy loves it!!!!

These are quite large for a puppy

These are advertised as puppy but I wish there were still different sizes for the different sizes of puppies. It seems extra small dogs are left out of alot of things. My older larger dog seems to like these but shes only touched it once because these are also quite hard. And my tiny puppy wants to chew these but theyre so big she cant even get ahold of it. I wish there were more options for very small dogs/puppies. Because they seemed to really like these and wanted them but just cant chew them...
