With unique tonality, the Fender American Performer Spruce Telecaster joins in on Fender’s Limited Edition American Performer Timber Collection as an alternative route to experiencing a classic Telecaster sound. This Telecaster works as both a guitar classic and modern to strike a key balance and deliver with a new limited tonewood.

Starting out a square one with its basis and probably most exciting element, this American Performer’s body is formed from spruce and is fitted with a satin Honey Burst finish. For a unique choice of wood, this Tele’s spruce single-cutaway figure carries with it the classic Telecaster form but with some distinct difference in resonance and feel thanks to the spruce. This spruce is matched with a maple neck in a fast Modern “C” profile, outfitted for dynamic playing. A maple fingerboard joins the equation on this model with twenty-two Jumbo frets that feel spacious and allow for quick and easy fretting across the entire scale length. A synthetic bone nut and Fender ClassicGear tuning machines line the headstock for accessible stringing and solid intonation.

The aura of this Tele comes alive with two Fender Yosemite Single-Coil Telecaster pickups that produce all the classic Tele twang needed for such an experience. Roll through classic Telecaster tonality as enhanced by the choice of spruce to strike a new unique single-coil sound. This is all topped off with this Telecaster’s 3-Saddle Vintage-Style Strings-Through-Body Tele bridge with brass barrel saddles, solidifying the entire playing experience and making for a complete Telecaster package from head to toe. A Fender Deluxe gig bag accompanies this American Performer for a road-ready package.

Totally, fans of Telecasters and unique tonewoods are certain to make a match with this Limited Edition model and all the fine Fender sounds that come with it.

A wonderful edition!
Format: Paperback
I highly recommend this edition above all others available. The translation is very clear and lucid and actually makes Timaeus and Critias real page-turners. Not only is the translation great, but the introductory material is incredible. While one review here mentions that the translation misses some of the nuance of Platonic thought (which I don't necessarily agree with that), the introduction more than makes up for that. So many available editions of Timaeus are written by reluctant scholars who act puzzled as to why they've been asked to introduce Timaeus when they are obviously either not fond of it, or dismissive of it as an authentic piece of Plato's canon. At last, we have an edition that is faithful and generous to the source material!

The origin of Atlantis was orally passed down from an Egyptian priest.
Format: Paperback
I haven’t even finished it yet because I’ve been very busy with college. However, it is fascinating to read the story of Atlantis. Personally, I believe it was a real lost city. Mythology can sometimes be true if it speaks about lost cities.
