Our big fall championship event!

This tournament has seven different sections for players depending on their age and skill.  Participants play only against opponents in their own section.  The tournament concludes around 4:00pm with an awards ceremony where the top players and top schools receive trophies.

* Players should arrive 15 minutes before their first game

* All sections are non-elimination
* We provide FREE US Chess Federation memberships for all participants, a $24 value!

There are four beginner sections for players in their first tournament, or who've played in tournaments but are rated below the threshold:

Grades K - 1 (under 400)
Grades 2 - 3 (under 400)
Grades 4 - 5 (under 400)
Grades 6 - 12 (under 800)

Intermediate K-5 400-800 Section
This section is for players rated between 400 and 799.

Advanced K-12 800-1200 Section
This section is for players rated between 800 and 1199.

Championship K-12 1200+ Section
This section is for players rated over 1200.

Online registration is $57 until noon on 12/2.  Starting 12/2 at noon, online registration is $67  Players who register after 9:00am on Sunday will miss the first round.  Chess sets are provided, but bring a clock if you have one.
